Appointed Senior Portfolio Manager, with a keen interest and deep involvement in an outstanding long-term project, Livio Dalle has officially joined the Kairos Partners team as a highly qualified new resource poised to take on the challenges that the complex market will throw his way in the months to come.
Co-manager of network funds, but with a focus on customized management products, Dalle is enthusiastic about this opportunity to be part of an ambitious development plan that, in addition to the asset management company, also encompasses the newly created Kairos Julius Baer and plans to establish a private bank in Italy offering wealth management and financial advisory services. “This is a unique project,” Dalle recently commented. “It will ensure that Kairos is continuously capable of meeting future challenges, with the aim of maintaining or, better – boosting – the group’s profitability.”
Already fully active at the Kairos office in Milan, the financial analyst emphasized how the current market now presents a high level of complexity, including Italian and international competition. Dalle does not see dark clouds on the horizon in the short-term. “We expect relative calm in the next few weeks, following the dramatic correction that occurred between the end of May and the beginning of June. However, tension could arise as the year continues, although we should not see systemic risk given the consolidation of macroeconomic conditions, especially in certain areas of the world.”
Livio Dalle is a brilliant new acquisition for the Milan-based asset management company, with impressive experience in key positions in the financial community. After graduating with degrees in Business from the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan and Political Science from the State University of Milan, he began his career in 1997 with Banca Popolare di Novara as an equity manager, before moving on to Caboto SIM, where he handled sales and proprietary trading for institutional investors. Dalle then worked for Mediobanca as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group and in 2001, he joined UBS Italia AG as Head of Equity. In 2008, he was named Head of Special Mandates for Banca Leonardo.
Dalle left his position as Head of MAC (Multi Asset Class) Italy at Vontobel to join Kairos.
